sailing takes place throughout the year along the south coast, particulary at Le  on the Solent overlooking the Isle of Wight.

Milvil Corner is situated half a mile away from the Seafront, in Milvil Road. It can be found on the corner of Milvil Road and Nottingham Place and is the last in the row of five Art Deco flat roofed properties. it is a very quiet residetial area, with the beach and high Street, just five minutes walk at the end of the road. click here for a map of where we are.

The beach is suitable for recreation and with views to the Isle of Wight. Swimming, sailing, jet skiing, fishing, windsurfing, canoeing and waterskiing are all carried out, whilst there is a zoning of water sports. There is also a children's to play area.

The shops adequately meet day to day needs and the cafes and restaurants are great for a lunchtime snack or an evening meal.

Gosport town centre is approximately 3 miles away. Very popular markets are held very Tuesday and Saturday. The Gosport ferry www.gosportferry.co.uk runs from the town centre to Portsmouth every few minutes. Other attractions in Gosport include the RN Submarine museum www.rnsubmus.co.uk Explosion! www.explosion.org.uk and the Hovercraft museum www.hovercraft-museum.org.

Fareham is also approximately 3 miles away. There is an indoor shopping centre. A market takes place on Monday mornings in West Street and on the first Saturday of each month there is a farmers market.
